Meet the nine exciting artists who have been working with composer Anna Meredith this week on a Both Sides Now residency ahead of our sixth and final Hexagon Experiment on Friday.
The residency, entitled Works In Progress, will see the women create new music and visual art inspired by the idea of Micro/Macro, exploring how innovative musical and visual ideas can be developed by expansion of the smallest detail or deconstruction of the broadest concept. There will be an end of residency showcase of the ‘works in progress’ this Friday 7 Sept which will act as our final farewell to The Hexagon Experiment series.
Ahead of the performance there will be an in-conversation panel hosted by BBC presenter and broadcast journalist Elizabeth Alker who will speak to Anna and Dr Oana Istrate from the National Graphene Institute at The University of Manchester.
You can book tickets for the final Hexagon Experiment here.
