Rachael Gibson holds a BA (Hons) in Music/Popular Music from the University of Liverpool. Her music aims to fuse elements of popular music and contemporary classical music to create pieces which fuse gesture and experimentation with motifs and hooks to address the way melody and sounds interact. Rachael also composes music for short films and advertisements.

I am really looking forward to working alongside some great musicians and experimenting with the different ideas and skills everyone will bring to the residency in order to create some interesting new music we couldn’t have created individually.”
