Join us at the Imperial War Museum for Breaking The Silence – a modern day response to the centenary of the end of the First World War.
At 11am on the 11 November 2018, the nation will stand in silence marking a poignant moment for the end of the First World War Centenary. At 11.02am the silence will be broken.
In collaboration with the Imperial War Museum, Breaking The Silence will mark 100 years of remembrance and the final commemorations of the First World War Centenary with performances from a group of young musicians. Taking inspiration from the museums collections and using electronics, digital technologies and vocals, the performances will experiment with sounds and silence to create a modern day response to the centenary of the end of the First World War.
