The fourth and final session in our series of free online webinars to support musicians and music professionals during the COVID-19 crisis, hosted by Remi Harris MBE.
Aimed at people promoting themselves and their business or organisation through media, press releases and social media considering how to change messaging, campaigns or promotion in response to COVID-19.
The session will cover:
- Pivoting your communications to take account of media/news priorities
- Releasing new music, timing and tone
- Campaigning, lessons learned from FanFair Alliance campaign and issues that might be different for current campaigns
- Changes happening within media such as reduced programming, advertising and production
Hosted by Remi Harris MBE, who has 20 years’ experience working across the music & creative industries as a senior manager, trainer, facilitator, coach and business adviser in the UK and internationally. Remi will be joined by communications and PR consultant Adam Webb.
How to take part
We’ll be using online video software Zoom, so please ensure you have downloaded the app on a desktop or mobile ahead of the session.
We will email you a link to the meeting room closer to the date.

About the speakers
Remi Harris MBE has 20 years’ experience working across the music & creative industries as a senior manager, trainer, facilitator, coach and business adviser in the UK and internationally. She was General Manager of Association of Independent Music and Director of Operations at UK Music, is co-founder of YGN (Young Guns Network) the professional network for young people in Music and is qualified with an MBA (Masters in Business). Adam Webb is an experienced Communications and PR executive whose client list currently includes Merlin, the Music Managers Forum and Attitude is Everything, whilst he also oversees the award-winning FanFair Alliance campaign to tackle industrial-scale online ticket touting. Adam’s previous clients have included Iceland Airwaves, Roundhouse, the Music Publishers Association, the Association of Independent Festivals and the PRS Foundation. He served as Head of Communications at UK Music from 2008-2012, when he was also voted Communications Person Of The Year at the Record Of The Day Awards.
