This course is aimed at project managers, programme managers and anyone planning and managing inclusive music activity across the North West for children and young people.

Delivered by Artswork, as part of the Reaching Out Network – a training, development and future-thinking network run by More Music and Brighter Sound.

About the course

Evaluation can sometimes seem like a daunting task, but taking the time to reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of your work with young people is the best way to achieve greater outcomes for future projects.

Designed to help you cultivate meaningful and beneficial modes of evaluating creative projects with young people, this course will guide you through creative examples and useful case studies as you prepare to develop and review your own evaluation processes and models.

Ideal if:

  • You develop and deliver projects for, with and by children and young people

  • You want to discover new, creative approaches to evaluation

  • Your evaluation skills need a confidence boost

About the trainer

Lesley Wood is a freelance creative and educational professional with more than 20 years’ in depth experience of working across the creative, heritage, education and cultural sectors. She works with organisations of all sizes and across all sectors measuring impact and providing support on strategic development.
