About Sing City

Sing City is a free music-making group open to young musicians (of any genre) aged 13-19 who want to develop skills in original song creation, production, collaborative music making, playing with a band, studio recording, event promotion and live performance.

Led by a team of expert musicians and practitioners, Sing City is the perfect way for young musicians to get together to develop music industry skills, knowledge and expertise.

If you’re between 13-19 and are interested in taking part in Sing City to develop your original songwriting, collaboration and band skills, get in touch with andrea@brightersound.com.

Covid-19 Information

Below are some additional COVID safety measures that will be in place for audiences, performers and staff in light of the rise in Omnicron cases across the UK.

  • No walks ups – pre-booked tickets only
  • Either a COVID passport (found via the NHS app) or a negative lateral flow test within 24 hours will be required on entry
  • All audiences will be seated in bubbles around tables
  • Everyone will be required to wear masks when walking around, unless exempt (performers aren’t required to wear masks on stage)
  • 1 metre social distancing is encouraged for audiences and for participants / staff backstage
  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available for all participants to use before and after sharing any equipment
  • Wristbands with QR codes will be available for audiences to pre-order interval drinks and avoid crowding at the bar

Our full staff team will take a lateral flow test on Wednesday morning. We advise that all participants and audiences do the same, regardless of vaccination status to keep everyone as safe as possible.
