Brighter Sound presents Sing City – weekly sessions for young and emerging composers, producers and musicians at Band on the Wall.

Sing City runs on a Wednesday evening in six-weekly themed blocks, each culminating in a live night in the Band on the Wall venue. In the first block starting mid-September, alt-pop artist Elizabeth Vince explores music for games. Since the creation of games, music has been an integral part of what we come to know and love about our most loved titles. From classic theme tunes to epic cinematic soundtracks, music and games work in synergy together to create a fun and gripping interactive audio visual experience.

Come and delve into music for the gaming medium. From reinventing classic game theme tunes, to creating original soundtracks for game play, we explore a wide of variety of techniques, unlocking exciting ideas for musical creation in the interactive world.

Sing City is free and open to musicians under the age of 18 with an interest in song-writing and composition, collaboration, live performance and just generally finding out more about the world of music.

Sessions are led by a fantastic collaborative team of young professional musicians each bringing a different and exciting specialism to the mix.
