Hayley Suviste

Hayley Suviste is a sound artist based in Manchester currently undergoing a Masters in Electroacoustic Composition at the University of Manchester. Her practice involves transforming site-specific recordings, interviews and archived sounds into immersive compositions that focus on space, place and belonging. Hayley’s music has been performed at various festivals and concerts around the UK including MANTIS (Manchester Theatre in Sound), BEAST (Birmingham Electro-Acoustic Sound Theatre), NMNW (New Music North West), Eastn-Dc: A Festival of Digital Creativity and MUSICA (a festival celebrating female music making in the North West). She has also taken part in the Modul:Projects Push Music residency alongside other emerging electronic musicians, where they worked together to create a live-set that fused electroacoustic composition, modular synthesis and laptop music which was performed at the White Hotel, Texture and Old Granada studios.
