We’ve launched a short survey to help us understand the immediate and future needs of our artist communities – and shape what we do next.
We recognise what a hugely challenging time this is for artists and freelancers across the sector. While things continue to feel uncertain, there is no doubt that when we emerge the music industry (and the world) will be a very different place.
With these things in mind, we’re taking an opportunity to reflect on and re-assess what we do next to support people working in music (both creatively and practically), and ensure our future programme is as useful, relevant and exciting as possible.
By completing this survey, you’ll help us to understand in more detail some of the challenges you are facing right now, along with your aspirations for the future. We’ll feed these responses into the planning and development of a new three-year programme of creative support for music creators, digital creatives and event producers from the North, supported by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
The survey is open to music creators and artists at all stages of their career. We’re interested in hearing from people from a range of musical backgrounds, genres and disciplines. Whether you’ve worked with us before, or are completely new to Brighter Sound – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Deadline: Wed 10 Jun, 10pm
We estimate it will take around 10 minutes to complete, and you can respond anonymously if you prefer. If you have any questions, please get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
