We’ve launched a series of free online webinars to support musicians and music professionals during COVID-19, hosted by Remi Harris MBE.
Taking place every Thursday lunchtime over the next four weeks, the sessions will cover a range of topics including getting to grips with emergency support packages, replanning your finances and how to promote yourself during this uncertain time.
Remi has 20 years’ experience working across the music & creative industries as a senior manager, trainer, facilitator, coach and business adviser in the UK and internationally. Over the weeks she’ll be joined by accountant and business consultant Shim Offor, creative industries coach Tamara Gal-On and Communications and PR executive Adam Webb.
All sessions will take place on Zoom. If you’d like to join us, please register by clicking the links below. Here is the full schedule…
#1 Emergency support and new funding
Thu 16 Apr, 1-1.45pm
In the last few weeks many grant schemes, hardship funds, government programmes and arts commissions have been launched to support artists and freelancers in the music and arts sector. This session will clarify what’s available, and how to access the support that’s right for you.
#2 Replanning your finances
Thu 23 Apr, 1-1.45pm
Budgeting and managing your cash flow are essential skills for us all, and never more so than now. This session is aimed at anyone that needs to replan their personal or professional finances or put together a project budget.
#3 Using intuition in uncertain times
Thu 30 Apr, 1-1.45pm
Aimed at creatives and those who support creatives and work in the wider creative industry who are fearful, anxious or overwhelmed due to the extraordinary times we are living through – or are feeling so uncertain about what action to take, they aren’t taking any.
#4 Communications, PR and media
Thu 7 May, 1-1.45pm
Aimed at people promoting themselves and their business or organisation through media, press releases and social media considering how to change messaging, campaigns or promotion in response to COVID-19.
