We are launching our brand new leadership programme with a series of inspirational talks uncovering the stories behind how people in the music industry have overcome their biggest challenges, and what can be done to recover, respond and rebuild after a crisis.

Hosted by Remi Harris MBE, this four-part series will feature influential music professionals Alison Wenham OBE, Sally-Anne Gross, Keith Harris OBE and Vick Bain discussing how they have dealt with changing times throughout their own careers – from digitisation to economic recession.

“A time like this forces us all to reflect, to think about what matters and to re-imagine how the future might unfold. Central to the survival and future growth of the industry will be strong leadership, fresh new ideas and a sharing of past lessons learned – a coming together of age and experience, energy and enthusiasm. It is a time to innovate and a time for new voices.”
Kate Lowes, Head of Programmes, Brighter Sound

The events mark the start of our exciting new leadership programme, supported by Arts Council England. Over the next two years we will be working to develop the music industry leaders of the future, and address both the gender gap and regional divide within the sector. You can find out more about why this work is so important and what the programme will entail on our latest blog post.
