George Burrage is a multi-instrumentalist studying popular music performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. He writes and performs for several projects including Diving Station, a harp-driven rock band, Bethlehem Casuals, a 7-piece DIY world music collective, and indie folk quintet, Anna McLuckie. He also improvises with jazz quartets and trios. George has performed with New Order as part of a synth orchestra for Manchester International Festival, the Ignition Orchestra for Garage Classical at Liverpool International Music Festival, Video Jam Takeover at Manchester Science Festival, Sounds From The Other City and Bluedot Festival. His recordings and performances have received airplay on BBC 6 Music, Radio 2, Radio 1 and 1Xtra, as well as BBC Manchester, Oxford and York.
