Sean Rogan is a guitarist and composer from Manchester, currently studying Popular Music Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. He plays in harp-driven rock band ‘Diving Station’, as well as a variety of small ensembles, often rooted in jazz and improvisation. He’s also scored a variety of short films, and recently worked on the scoring and sound design for the theatre production ‘Lulu’ at the Salzburg Festival last year.
“I’m especially interested in the use of technology with acoustic instruments and improvising across art forms, which I explore with Tryon Collective, a multimedia free improvisation group. I’m hoping to explore these ideas further in the Manchester Hill Remembered project by collaborating with other artists and learning more about the creative process.”
