Queen Tamika is an upcoming singer-songwriter and rapper from Manchester, who is currently working towards fusing trap, hip hop, R&B, dancehall, afrobeats and soul to create her sound.
She started singing in 1998, however, after being challenged to get out of her comfort zone, she began rapping in 2012. Queen’s first performance was at an open mic night in 2015, and her first show was in 2017 at the Manchester Carnival. She then went on to release two songs the following year and also performed at the Manchester Festival. She aims to drop her much-awaited debut EP.
