We brought lots of talented young musicians from across Manchester and the North West together to make a brand new album in a day. The creative musicians made up of singers, instrumentalists, DJs, beatboxers and producers worked together to write, perform and record original material. We couldn’t believe it when the legendary Pee Wee Ellis called in Brighter Sound to listen to young musicians taking part in our Meklit residency. The American saxophonist, composer and arranger, is best known for playing in James Brown’s band and with Van Morrison. Check out more picture moments from our projects here.
