We’re delighted to be supporting some of our young and emerging musicians this August, with two performance slots at the Festival of Manchester.
The Festival of Manchester is a free one-day festival in Platt Fields Park, featuring entertainment, activities, music, sport and food to celebrate this great city.
The beautiful lakeside area will be the focus of this second annual festival for the people of Manchester, by the people of Manchester. It’ll be a fabulous day of celebrating all that’s great about being in Manchester, and showcasing all that makes our diverse and vibrant city such a great place to live, work and play.
Visit their website for more information.
Join us for a special showcase of three of Manchester’s most talented young musicians.
- Maisie Murray, a self-taught guitarist and singer-songwriter
- Dylan Murphy, a 16 year old musician who performs original music
- Maddie Harris, a 17 year old acoustic singer-songwriter
Maisie, Dylan and Maddie – who all take part in our Sing City sessions – will be performing at the Festival Stage from 12.40pm, and can also be seen at pop-up performances throughout the festival.
