Swan Street Collective 2019 – a musical ensemble of young disabled people aged 13-21 from Greater Manchester.
Led by Kenton Mann from Music Unlimited, the Collective will work together to create new music using a variety of instruments, and in a variety of styles and genres.
Sessions involve experimentation, improvisation and composition. The Collective will also work with Drake Music Lab North to adapt and develop brand new accessible instruments.
The project will finish with a special performance in the Barbirolli Room at the Bridgewater Hall on Sun 23 June.

All sessions will take place on Saturday afternoon (between 1-2.45pm) at Band on the Wall in Manchester city centre.

Throughout March, you are welcome to come along and try a session to see if it’s for you – although we’d really like you to attend as many sessions as possible.
The last four sessions in June are rehearsals to prepare for the performance. We would ask that you are available for all of these dates.
