Lyrics

Track 1: Bug

I don’t wanna work today
I want to be a bug.

Slide back to my bedroom
And elicit someone's love.

I'm not Charlie Kauffman
I feel closer to a slug.

I don't need to change myself
Maybe I just need a hug.

Not just pushing forward lately
I am moving upward and I’m still creating.

Open wide, my eyes dilating
I’m not concerned with working daily.

Credits: Imogen (guitar and vocals), Sonny (vocals), Amby (guitar and vocals), Lala (bass), Matt (drums)

Track 2: Boy

Ah, da-da, da-da, Boy

I'd love it if you're bare minimum nice to me
Gave more of your time for me
Instead of being so cold
It's getting quite old.

You’d hate it
If I was half that mean to you
You don't know what you put me through
You’re painting my dreamscape blue

And it's cool inside your mind
Do you care, I’m scared I’ll find
You down the line with some other girl
Wasting all my time.

How perfect it would be
If you turned up just once for me
If you could be
If you could see.

If you could be what I want you to be
You’d never tell your lies
I’d never cry
You’d call me back every time.

If you could be what I want you to be
Would you feel like a toy
Or be so annoyed
When you just destroy me
And not be such a boy?

If you told me every day
You take my breath away
And you need me there close

I’m getting so over your excuses.

Cause I just need to know
Do you love me boy or hate me
See t’s not that hard to tell me
Oh that you’re always on my side
And you need me there tonight.

If you could be
If you could see.

If you could be what I want you to be
You’d never tell your lies
I’d never cry
You’d call me back every time.

If you could be what I want you to be
Would you feel like a toy
Or be so annoyed
When you just destroy me
And not be such a boy?

If you could be what I want you to be
You’d never tell your lies
I’d never cry
You’d call me back every time.

If you could be what I want you to be
Would you feel like a toy
Or be so annoyed
When you just destroy me

Yeah you live your life
Have you thought about mine?
Want you in my story.

Could you not be such a boy?

Credits: Maddie (guitar and vocals), Benedicte (vocals), Mia (vocals), Bradley (vocals)

Track 3: Transformation

He’s caught my smile, I don’t even have his sweatshirt
Gotta hate it when you love someone but it hurts
Every single time I find that I always bleed.

And my my did I go crazy?
He doesn’t call, I’m on the edge
And I’ve stopped thinking I can breathe without his touch.

And I could try to give him space
I could call him so many things
But I lack the energy.

Time after time
I’m bound to fall
Try to rewind
I won’t cry anymore
I won’t cry anymore.

So I realise it's not him I need to work on
Just myself cause I'm a shell of what I once was
I say I'm alright, but I'll keep falling in too deep.

See I let people in, let them all go
Walk on the pavement, vacant and cold.

Do I walk this path in vain? Save me, save me
And if he knows my pain he can shatter me quickly.

Oh, I could try and find me again
But can't forget what unless I've been
Oh, I can keep moving on from this.

Time after time
I’m bound to fall
Try to rewind
I won’t cry anymore
I won’t cry anymore.

Credits: Maddie (vocals), Benedicte (vocals), Laetitia (sax), Matt (drums), Sam (piano)

Track 4: Without You

I’ve not seen you since winter
I haven’t seen your face.

My heart aches without you
You I can’t replace.

People always change
And I don’t know what I’m doing without you
Oh you, oh you.

My tears become the rain
When I’m not with you all I feel is pain

Do you feel the same?
Do you feel the same?

Oh, people always change
And I don’t know what I’m doing without you
Oh you, oh you.

Credits: Korneliusz (guitar), Benedicte (vocals), Kyoko (vocals), Imogen (bass), Abbi (drums), Sam (piano)

Track 5: Did You Really Like It

I’m not that quiet little girl anymore
And you don’t have a hold on me anymore.

Now you fall to my knees
You can bow down to me.

I am not your whore.

One, two, three, four.

It’s just a physical change
But it affects my brain.

When the numbers drop lower
And my heart goes slower
It’s a twisted game.
It’s a twisted game.
It’s a twisted game.

I really liked you
But you left me hanging
Like a string on a balloon
Did you really like it?

Did you really like it?
Did you really like it?
Did you really like it?
Did you really like it?

I am not your whore (It’s a twisted game)
I am not your whore (It’s a twisted game)
I am not your whore (It’s a twisted game)
I am not your whore (It’s a twisted game)

Did you really like it?
Did you really like it?
Did you really like it?
Did you really like it, like it, like it?

Credits: Oliver (guitar),  Etienne (guitar), Korneliusz (guitar), Bradley (vocals), Maisie (vocals), Mia (vocals), Kyoko (bass), Matt (drums)

Track 6: Merciless Rainfall

Caught in heavy downpour
Merciless rainfall.

It’s such a lot to digest
And so naturally I regress.

I begin to withdraw
Scramble back to shore.

Then a sinister wave takes over again and I forget it all.

Caught in heavy downpour
Merciless rainfall.

It’s such a lot to digest
And so naturally I regress.
I regress.

I regress.

Oh, I regress.
And I regress.
I regre-e-e-ess.
I regress.
I regress.

Credits: Laetitia (sax), Maisie (guitar and vocals), Lala (bass), Matt (drums)

Track 7: Seed Money

Do you know why our cities are flooding
Besides corporate greed?

We’re living on floodplains
Runs straight off the concrete
Soak it all up babe
You gotta plant that seed

I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it
I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it
I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it
I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it

Do you know why our cities are flooding
Besides corporate greed?

We’re living on floodplains
Runs straight off the concrete
Soak it all up babe
You gotta plant that seed

You gotta plant that
You gotta plant that
You gotta plant that seed.

(I don’t wanna think about it, I don’t wanna think about it)

You gotta plant that seed, plant that seed.
You gotta plant that seed, that seed.
You gotta plant that seed.

Do you know why our cities are flooding (Plant that seed)
Besides corporate greed?

(You gotta plant that, you gotta plant that, you gotta plant that seed)

We’re living on floodplains (You gotta plant that seed
Runs straight off the concrete (You gotta plant that seed)
Soak it all up babe
You gotta plant that seed.

(You gotta plant that, you gotta plant that, you gotta plant that seed)

Plant that seed.

Credits: Oliver (guitar), Etienne (guitar), Amby (vocals), Sonny (bass), Matt (drums)
