Dr Roaa Ali is a Lecturer in Creative and Cultural Industries (CCIs) and Programme Director for the MA in CCIs at the University of Manchester whose research focuses on inequality, race, labour, and cultural production in CCIs. Her work explores diversity, representation, and institutional change across the cultural sector, including a current project on Positive Action in the UK’s CCIs. She works closely with cultural organisations and sector partners to support more equitable and inclusive creative futures.
